About Lonnie:
I am an entertainer, singer, songwriter, tap dancer, and musician. His intricate entertainment style is presented with joy, raw emotion, excitement, and an unmistakable, smooth voice. Lonnie has toured across the US, Europe, Japan, and a USO tour in 2004 with Wayne Newton. I perform weekly at “Lonnie’s Reno Club”.
For over 15 years I was known in Kansas City for tap dancing on the bar at The Phoenix. I have also performed at The Kauffman Center, Kauffman Stadium, Starlight Theater, The Blue-Room, and The Sprint Center. I have been honored to share the stage with Wayne Newton, Sammy Davis Jr. Tony Orlando, Herb Alpert and many others.
I received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Jazz Museum in May 2016, and Living Legends Awards from Tapology in October of 2017. I have been recognized by the readers of Kansas City Magazine, The Pitch Magazine, & Ingram’s Magazine as The Best Entertainer in Kansas City. In 2020, Paul Coury and I partnered to create “Lonnie’s Reno Club”. Lonnie’s Reno Club is an upscale supper club that pays homage to the famous Reno Club of the 1930’s. In 2022, Lonnie and his brother Ronald (The McFadden Brothers) were inducted into the Jazz Walk of Fame in Kansas City’s Historic Jazz District.
